Seven Seas followed up their announcement of the Scum Villain hardcovers with something equally exciting: they have acquired the English licenses for Little Mushroom and Golden Terrace. [Source: 1, 2]
The English licenses for these two fan-favorite danmei were previously owned by the now-closed publisher Peach Flower House. Seven Seas’ upcoming release will not only allow these two beloved series a chance to return to store shelves, it will also be the first time Golden Terrace is available in eBook format.
Per Seven Seas’ current release information, Little Mushroom will be receiving a Special Edition release for its first volume, while Golden Terrace will not. Seven Seas releases Special Editions for the first volumes of select danmei series only—previously, they would release them with every danmei series’ final volume. Seven Seas has not publicly disclosed how they determine which series receive this treatment, but it may be decided in part by projected sales numbers and fan reaction.
Seven Seas’ announcement and website also specify that both series will be receiving new translations. Little Mushroom will be translated by Yu (previous works include: The Husky & His White Cat Shizun, Remnants of Filth) and Amixy (previous works include: Ballad of Sword and Wine, Run Wild), while Golden Terrace will be translated by Suika (previous works include: Heaven Official’s Blessing, To Rule in a Turbulent World) and Kou.
Little Mushroom is slated for a May 2026 release date, and Golden Terrace follows a month later in June 2026. Pre-orders for the series are not yet live, and DanmeiNews will update its catalog accordingly when they become available.

In a near-future world, humans and non-humans alike must endure in a world that wants them dead. The fan-favorite danmei (Boys’ Love) novels return with an all-new translation and illustrations!
In the year 2020, humanity was nearly wiped out by cosmic radiation. Over the next one hundred years, living creatures began to change and mutate while the remaining humans struggled to survive in man-made bases.
Down in the Abyss, a home to mutated xenogenics, there lived a sentient mushroom. Nourished by the flesh and blood of the deceased An Ze, the mushroom took on the form of its host and even adopted a similar name: An Zhe. Seeking his missing spore, harvested by humans, An Zhe is determined to make it to the human base to retrieve what’s his. But the closer he gets to the base, the higher his risk of death increases.
Unfortunately for An Zhe, there are those who prowl the streets seeking xenogenics like himself—known as Judges, they inspect and eliminate non-humans without a second thought, sparing no one. And when An Zhe finds himself under the scrutiny of Colonel Lu Feng—the most perceptive and merciless of the Judges—he somehow goes undetected but not unsuspected. Lu Feng knows there’s something off about An Zhe, and he’s not letting him out of his sight until he figures it out.
Can An Zhe get back his spore without revealing his mutation to Lu Feng, or will everything unravel?

Golden Terrace (黄金台) is a danmei novel by Cang Wu Bin Bai. It was originally serialized on jjwxc starting in 2018, where it ran for 79 chapters (with 4 Extras). The series has an audio drama adaptation.
