Seven Seas announced their English license for The Lucky Egg Game: Cai Dan You Xi, a danmei novel series by Bo Mu Bing Lun. This series represents some notable firsts for the Seven Seas Danmei lineup, being their first license in both the unlimited flow and death game genres.

There are currently three volumes planned, and no artists have been publicly announced at this time. The promotional image Seven Seas used in their announcement may indicate they are using the cover art from the original Chinese release of the series, provided by artist Qian Er Bai. Qian Er Bai is also the artist for the manhua adaptation of Dinghai Fusheng Records, which is currently being released in English by Seven Seas alongside their ongoing release of the original novels.
Judging by the information currently available, it does not seem that there will be a special edition for the series. An exact release date has not yet been announced, but Seven Seas’ announcement estimates it can be expected in stores around July 2026. Preorders will likely become available as the time approaches.

The Lucky Egg Game (彩蛋游戏) is a danmei novel written by author Bo Mu Bing Lun. It was originally serialized on JJWXC in 2016, and was posted in three parts (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3). It ran for 102 chapters total (with 6 Extras).
The Lucky Egg Game is part of a shared universe with one of the author’s other series, Welcome to the Nightmare Game (欢迎来到噩梦游戏).
Seven Seas has provided the following series synopsis:
Two young men must survive a deadly supernatural game in this action-packed danmei/Boys’ Love series!
Lin Jue’s life at university has suddenly turned into a nightmare. One night, his campus is sealed off and all students are turned into zombies—except for 13 people, including Lin Jue himself, who received a mysterious easter egg. Some sort of twisted “game” has begun. Now Lin Jue and the other twelve must survive the night in this hellhole and figure out exactly what this horror game entails. Lin Jue may be able to forge bonds with the others, including a relationship that turns more intimate, but who will end up a greater threat to him: the zombies after his flesh, or the comrades who might betray him?
