At their panel at Anime NYC 2026, Seven Seas revealed three new danmei licenses: Faraway Wanderers by priest (adapted into the hit 2021 CDrama Word of Honor), First-Class Lawyer by Mu Su Li, and Welcome to the Nightmare Game by Bo Mu Bing Lun. The publisher also revealed two new danmei audiobooks: one for Dinghai Fusheng Records by Fei Tian Ye Xiang, and one for There’s Something Wrong with the Chief by Yang Su. Additionally, the publisher revealed their license for Till the End of the Moon by Teng Luo Wei Zhi, a heterosexual romance novel that was recently adapted into a hit CDrama. [Source: Twitter/X, Bluesky]
Faraway Wanderers: Tian Ya Ke
Faraway Wanderers (天涯客) is a danmei novel by priest. It began serialization in 2010 and ran for 77 chapters (plus 4 Extras), and is available to read in Chinese on JJWXC.
The series has received an audio drama adaptation, as well as a live-action adaptation known as Word of Honor (山河令, or Shan He Ling). This 2021 live-action CDrama was a smash hit both domestically and internationally, and is available to watch with English subtitles on Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Youku (YouTube).
Danmei fans have requested that Faraway Wanderers be licensed for English release for many years, and it is rumored that the author only recently re-opened licensing talks after completing unspecified revisions to her older works. Seven Seas has promised they will be releasing the work as a deluxe hardcover, similar to their release of Little Mushroom.

First-Class Lawyer: Yi Ji Lü Shi
First-Class Lawyer (一級律師) is a danmei novel by Mu Su Li. It began serialization in 2017 and ran for 215 chapters (plus 2 Extras), and is available to read in Chinese on JJWXC.
It has received an audio drama adaptation.
Mu Su Li already has a number of works available in English from Seven Seas, such as Copper Coins, Three Hundred Years of Longing, and Panguan. Her work A Certain Someone is available in English through the publisher Hai Tang Books, and her work Global Examination is available in English through the publisher Rosmei.

Welcome to the Nightmare Game: Huanying Laidao Emeng Youxi
Welcome to the Nightmare Game (欢迎来到噩梦游戏) is a danmei novel by Bo Mu Bing Lun. It began serialization in 2016 and has been posted in five parts on JJWXC (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5). Parts 1 – 4 consist of 570 chapters and 4 Extras, and Part 5 is ongoing.
It has an audio drama adaptation which was previously available on MissEvan, and a manhua adaptation which was previously available in Chinese through Kuaikan and Tencent Manhua.
The series is part of a shared universe with The Lucky Egg Game, which Seven Seas also plans to publish in English. Notably, Welcome to the Nightmare Game is an ongoing series that is being actively serialized at time of writing—this is uncommon for English danmei works, but is not the first example, which is a title that goes to Eternal Gate by Fei Tian Ye Xiang.

New Danmei Audiobook Licenses
Rounding out the danmei announcements at Anime NYC 2026, Seven Seas announced they have licensed English audiobooks for two more danmei works: Dinghai Fusheng Records by Fei Tian Ye Xiang, and There’s Something Wrong with the Chief by Yang Su. These titles will be added to their growing library of danmei audiobooks under the Siren imprint.
The audiobook for There’s Something Wrong with the Chief) has likely been in the works for some time, as the author mentioned on their Weibo in October 2024 that Seven Seas had also bought the rights to produce an audiobook when they secured the rights to publish their work in English print. Fei Tian Ye Xiang has a number of his other danmei works available as audiobooks, including Dinghai‘s sister series Legend of Exorcism.
