Rosmei revealed two of their recently acquired English danmei licenses: Sammy’s Children’s Day (初三的六一儿童节) by She Xie Dian Dian, and Da Dang (大珰) by Tongzi. The former series license was revealed in the form of an addition to Rosmei’s Progress Report page, while the latter was revealed in a reply to a fan post about the series.
Despite their very different settings, Sammy’s Children’s Day and Da Dang have something in common: that is, they both have live-action CDrama adaptations. The live-action adaptation of Sammy’s Children’s Day is currently airing on a number of platforms, while Da Dang‘s CDrama was only recently announced and is still in pre-production.
The publisher has not shared any further information about their new danmei series, such as summaries, covers, or pre-order/release dates. DanmeiNews provides some of the available information about the series below.
Sammy’s Children’s Day
Sammy’s Children’s Day (初三的六一儿童节) is a danmei novel series by She Xie Dian Dian. It was serialized on Mars Women’s Channel and ran for 111 chapters (plus 7 Extras).
It has a manhua adaptation (Bilibili, iQIYI), as well as an audio drama adaptation. A live-action adaptation began airing in 2026 and is available to watch in English on GagaOOLala, Viki, and YouTube.

Da Dang (大珰), or The Grand Eunuch, is a danmei novel series by Tongzi. It was serialized on JJWXC in 2016 and ran for 56 chapters (plus 1 Extra).
It has an audio drama adaptation available on the Manbo app. A live-action adaptation was announced in 2026.

Author Tongzi also wrote Deep in the Act (入戏), which was also recently pegged for a live-action adaptation. Originally licensed for digital-only English release in 2018 by the now-closed publisher Chaleuria, Via Lactea announced in January 2026 that they had re-acquired the license for Deep in the Act and would be releasing it in print and digital under the new title The Method / Ru Xi.
