The publisher provided the following series synopsis in a press release:
From the author of Legend of Exorcism: Tianbao Fuyao Lu and Joyful Reunion comes a brand-new danmei novel about a young man pulled into a dangerous dreamscape and the knight of his dreams.
Yu Hao’s bleak life as a lonely college student shatters when he’s falsely accused of theft—only to tumble into a dreamscape where battles rage and courage awakens! Guided by the faceless but dashing General, he fights monsters and uncovers strength he never knew he had. Meanwhile, in the waking world, unexpected allies help him reclaim hope…and Yu Hao just can’t shake the feeling that one of them is the knight of his dreams.
Seizing Dreams joins a growing list of releases from Fei Tian Ye Xiang’s prolific catalog of work, which includes series such as Legend of Exorcism, Dinghai Fusheng Records, Joyful Reunion, To Rule in a Turbulent World, and more.
Judging by the information currently available, it does not seem that there will be a special edition for the series. An exact release date has not yet been announced, but Seven Seas’ announcement estimates it can be expected in stores around November 2026.

Yu Hao has always lived on the margins: poor, closeted, shunned by those around him. When a stolen watch inexplicably appears in his backpack, the accusation threatens his future and extinguishes what little hope he has left. Desperate, he turns to death as escape…only to awaken in a realm where dreams become battlefields.
There, Yu Hao meets the General, a knight who drags him back from despair. Night after night, they fight through the figments of Yu Hao’s unconscious mind, discovering strength he never knew he had. Each victory ripples into the waking world, where Yu Hao discovers unexpected allies, like his compassionate instructor, Chen Yekai, and his fiery classmate, Zhou Sheng.
But Yu Hao isn’t the only one on the brink. Others are trapped in thorny battles in their own strange realms, and he can’t ignore them—or the growing attraction he feels for the dashing General, who seems far too real to be just a dream.
Seizing Dreams (夺梦) is a danmei novel by Arise Zhang (a.k.a. Fei Tian Ye Xiang). It began serialization in 2018 and ran for 165 chapters, and is available to read in Chinese on JJWXC.
The series has received an audio drama adaptation. A live-action adaptation titled Dreamcatcher wrapped filming in 2022, but remains unreleased and has had no recent production updates.
