Rosmei revealed the cover art for Vols. 1-4 of their English release of Hunt for the Leviathan, a danmei novel series by Huai Shang. No artist has been publicly credited by the publisher at this time.
Rosmei stated in a reply to a Twitter/X user that preorders for the volumes would go live sometime in 2026, meaning that fans still have a while to wait. In the meantime, readers can occupy themselves with Hunt for the Leviathan‘s prequel series A Break in the Clouds, as Vol. 1 was recently released by the publisher in Singapore and is making its way to buyers across the globe.
Breaking Through the Clouds 2: Devouring the Seas (吞海) – Kuaikan ManhuaHunt for the Leviathan (吞海), also known as Swallow the Seas or Tun Hai, is a danmei novel series by Huai Shang. It was originally serialized on JJWXC in 2019, and ran for 163 chapters (plus 5 Extras). It is a sequel to A Break in the Clouds.
It inspired an audio drama adaptation, as well as a manhua adaptation. The manhua was originally published in Chinese on Kuaikan and has since been taken down. English translations of the manhua are available digitally through INKR, Tappytoon, Mangatoon, WebcomicsApp, and Coolmic.
