Seven Seas revealed the cover for Vol. 1 of the danmei series Mistakenly Saving the Villain, written by author Feng Yu Nie. The cover art is provided by artist St, and the interior B&W illustrations are provided by artist Mo Lu.

Seven Seas provides the following volume summary:
A mission gone wrong and a villain in need of serious therapy await in this heart-rending drama—finally available in English!
When medical student Song Qingshi dies and wakes up in a historical fantasy novel, he’s tasked with rescuing the tragic protagonist from a life of misery. There’s just one problem—he has no idea who the protagonist is.
Instead of saving the hero, Song Qingshi accidentally rescues Yue Wuhuan, an enslaved man renowned for his striking beauty and trained in the art of seduction. Now determined to help his traumatized new patient heal, Song Qingshi offers everything he can: Medicine, therapy, emotional support, even a shared bed—strictly for his patient’s well-being, of course.
But Yue Wuhuan wants more than healing. He wants revenge. And most of all, he wants Song Qingshi all to himself.
As enemies close in—and even heaven itself turns against them—Song Qingshi isn’t trying to change the story. He’s just trying to save the one person who needs him most.
A special edition version of the volume will also be available for purchase. The Mistakenly Saving the Villain Vol. 1 Special Edition comes with postcards, a poster, a bookmark, and a sticker sheet; all with art unique to the release. The associated artists will be revealed on the volume’s release date (Nov. 25, 2025). As with all of Seven Seas’ danmei special editions, they are limited to a single print run and will not be available for purchase again after stock is sold out.
Seven Seas releases Special Editions for the first volumes of select danmei series only—previously, they would release them with every danmei series’ final volume. Seven Seas has not publicly disclosed how they determine which series receive this treatment, but it may be decided in part by projected sales numbers and fan reaction.
