Hai Tang Books announced the upcoming preorder period for Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating Vol. 2, a danmei novel by Jiang Zi Bei. [Source: 1, 2] The preorder period will span from June 21st – July 21st, 2025.
Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating Vol. 2’s Retail Set is priced at $21.00USD, and the Bundle Set is priced at $34.99USD; both sets come with a variety of freebies. The Retail Set includes a student ID card, a holographic sticker, and a printed signature card from the series author. The Bundle Set includes all items from the Retail Set, and adds a 5″ character standee which is one half of a matching set that was released with Vol. 1. Preorders will also have a special metallic book edge finish, which will not be offered on reprints.
Previously, Hai Tang’s release of Vol. 1 made a particular freebie (main character Jing Huan’s character info card) exclusive to buyers who ordered through Nebelland or through local Group Orders. They have not mentioned any such exclusivity for this volume’s character info card (featuring main love interest Xiang Huaizhi).
Hai Tang has provided the following synopsis for Vol. 2:

Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating (网恋翻车指南) is a danmei series written by Jiang Zi Bei. It began serialization on jjwxc in 2019 and ran for 120 chapters (including extras). It has since been adapted into an audio drama, which is available on MissEvan.
