Seven Seas Gives Sneak Peek at Special Edition Merch for Two Upcoming Danmei Releases

Seven Seas posted sneak peeks at the Special Edition merch for two of their upcoming danmei releases: Remnants of Filth: Yuwu Vol. 7, and Dinghai Fusheng Records Vol. 1. [Source: 1, 2]

For Remnants of Filth‘s finale volume, Seven Seas is offering a poster, a double-sided bookmark, postcards, and a sticker sheet. For Dinghai Fusheng Records‘s debut volume, the release comes with a bookmark, sticker sheet, a notebook, and trading cards. As with all of Seven Seas’ danmei Special Editions, both are limited to a single print run and will not be available for purchase again after stock is sold out.

In the past, Seven Seas would release Special Editions for the final volume of each of their danmei series. This trend changed in late 2024, and currently the publisher releases Special Editions for the first volume of select danmei series only. The publisher has not disclosed how they determine which series receive the treatment, but thankfully it seems that long-running series that started before the change (such as Remnants) are still eligible to receive final-volume Special Editions.

Remnants of Filth: Yuwu

Remnants of Filth: Yuwu (余污) is a danmei webnovel series written by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou (also known as Meatbun). It was originally serialized on JJWXC starting in 2018, and ran for 196 chapters (plus 18 extras).

Seven Seas has provided the following series summary:

Dinghai Fusheng Records

Dinghai Fusheng Records (定海浮生录) is a danmei webnovel series written by Arise Zhang (also known as Fei Tian Ye Xiang). It was originally serialized on JJWXC starting in 2019, where it ran for 138 chapters. Chronologically, Dinghai Fusheng Records is the first book in the Exorcism universe and takes place in the same world as Legend of Exorcism. It has both a manhua and a donghua adaptation. The first and second volumes of the manhua are available in English from Seven Seas, and the manhua’s third volume is slated for release in August 2025.

The hit novel series that inspired the comic/manhua—also available in English from Seven Seas—and the animated series/donghua!
