Hai Tang Books announced their acquisition of the English license for Mist, a sci-fi unlimited flow danmei series by Wei Feng Ji Xu. JulianLynnnn (Twitter/X) has returned to provide promotional artwork.
Hai Tang Books clarified on Twitter/X that the above image is solely for promotional purposes, and that the final cover for the book will have a style “true to the original“. They are also taking fan suggestions for merch, and have indicated plans to include helpful diagrams in the volumes to guide readers through the infamously complicated plot.
No release date has yet been announced, nor information on preorders.
Mist (薄雾) is a danmei series written by Wei Feng Ji Xu. It began serialization on JJWXC in 2020 and ran for 103 chapters (plus 3 Extras). It has inspired a manhua adaptation, as well as an audio drama.

Hai Tang Books is a new publisher to the western danmei scene, and have already announced several other upcoming danmei series for release in 2025: Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating, Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know, To Marry A Demon, I Can Do It, Don’t Pick Up Boyfriends from the Trash Bin, A Certain Someone, and The Approach.
