Seven Seas Announces License for Danmei Novel Series TWIN JADES OF JIANGDONG

Seven Seas announced their English license for Twin Jades of Jiangdong, a danmei by Fei Tian Ye Xiang set in the ancient Three Kingdoms era.

The series is historical fiction loosely based around the lives of the real-life figures Zhou Yu and Sun Ce; who lived during the late Han dynasty in the Three Kingdoms period. Their life and relationship was most famously dramatized in the 14th-century novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong, and more recently dramatized in the video game series Dynasty Warriors by game publisher Koei. The latter fact did not escape the attention of some Twitter/X users, who made sure to point out their amusement on Seven Seas’ post.

No artist for the series has been publicly announced as of this time. Judging by the information currently available, it does not seem that there will be a special edition for the series. An exact release date has not yet been announced, but Seven Seas’ announcement estimates it will be in stores in January 2026 and preorders will likely become available as the time approaches.

Twin Jades of Jiangdong (江东双璧) is a danmei webnovel series written by Arise Zhang, also known as Fei Tian Ye Xiang. It was originally serialized on JJWXC starting in 2014, and ran for 37 chapters (plus two extras). The series has an audio drama adaptation available on MissEvan.
