On February 23, a new company took to Twitter/X to introduce themselves: Baiheverse. The group states they are “focused on translating baihe works and, where possible, adapting them into other media formats,” and intends to launch their own online reading platform dedicated to the genre. With the account reaching over a thousand followers in 24 hours, the hunger of the baihe fandom has never been clearer.

Chinese novels and media have gained significant popularity in the West in recent years, with many series being translated and published in English across a variety of genres. A standout is the danmei genre—China’s equivalent of boys’ love (BL) or “yaoi”—which has seen a major surge in releases. However, the same cannot be said for baihe, the Chinese counterpart to girls’ love (GL) or “yuri.” Despite some titles being licensed for English publication, very few have actually made it to readers. So, where are they, and when can we expect them to arrive?

As such, Fu Wanqing is determined to face her in battle; after all, she must prove herself not just worthy of her station, but superior beyond the rest!

Unfortunately, the ice-cold Yu Shengyan couldn’t be less interested in her challenge. Yet when Fu Wanqing offers the rare medicine Yu Shengyan needs to cure one of her comrades, she relents. For six years, her sister regarded Ran Jin as a treasure. She pampered her, cultivated her, and gave her all the best.
The beautiful, intelligent, and seemingly flawless Ran Jin stood at the forefront of everyone’s attention, and was praised as the ‘Creator’s Grace’.
Only Chi Yu knew that this woman hid a dirty heart underneath her unparalleled appearance.
Chi Yu left behind her whole life overseas and returned to the Chi family.
