Hai Tang Books announced their acquisition of the English license for The Approach, a modern-day danmei by La Rive Gauche centered around airline pilots. JulianLynnnn (Twitter/X) has returned to provide promotional artwork.
The Approach (从万米高空降临) is a danmei series written by La Rive Gauche. It began serialization on gongzicp in 2022 and ran for 84 chapters. The author also wrote another danmei series set in the same universe, Tailhook. Tailhook focuses on two secondary characters from The Approach, and is pending release by another danmei publisher, Rosmei. This is potentially the first known incidence of two danmei series set in the same universe being licensed by different publishers, and it will be interesting to see how Hai Tang and Rosmei choose to move forward with their releases.

Hai Tang also recently posted a sample for their upcoming series, Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating. They continue to expand their distribution network with partnerships, such as the newly announced Italian distributor Kitsune Labs [source 1, source 2].
