Hai Tang Books gave danmei readers a sneak peek at one of the freebies available with Vol. 1 of their upcoming release of Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating, written by Jiang Zi Bei. The freebie appears to be a paper doll of the main character, Jing Huan, and includes renditions of his clothing as described in the book.
Hai Tang Books announced their license for the series back in December 2024. The publisher has not yet announced a release date nor have they officially opened preorders, but they projected a tentative launch sometime in 2025.
Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating (网恋翻车指南) is a danmei series written by Jiang Zi Bei. It began serialization on jjwxc in 2019 and ran for 120 chapters (including extras). It has since been adapted into an audio drama, which is available on MissEvan.
Jiang Zi Bei also wrote the series Limerence, which is available for purchase through Via Lactea, as well as I Can Do It, which will be available from Hai Tang Books in 2025.
