Hai Tang Books announced their acquisition of the license for I Can Do It, an eSports-themed danmei novel by Jiang Zi Bei. JulianLynnnn (Twitter/X) has returned to provide promotional artwork.
Hai Tang introduced themselves to danmei fans on December 14, 2024 in a Twitter/X post. The U.S.-based publisher is the English branch of Cherry-apple Cultural and Creative Limited / 海棠出版社 (Twitter/X), a Chinese bookseller. They have already announced three other upcoming danmei series, and there will be several more series to come if their now-deleted Twitter/X post on the subject is to be believed.
Hai Tang previously stated they would be seeking to expand their distribution network to allow fans across the world easy access to their series, and the publisher has already delivered results. They announced partnerships with seven new distributors at time of writing, some of which service territories around the world; such as Europe, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Hai Tang’s partnership with Yiggybean and The Beguiling also comes with the promise of exclusive merch.

I Can Do It
I Can Do It (我行让我上) is a danmei series written by Jiang Zi Bei. It began serialization on jjwxc in 2020 and ran for 134 chapters (plus 2 extras and 7 side-stories). It has since been adapted into a manhua (previously available on Bilibili, but no longer online), an audio book (Chinese-only), and an audio drama (Chinese-only).
Jiang Zi Bei also wrote the series Limerence (available for purchase now through Via Lactea), as well as Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating (which Hai Tang will release sometime in 2025).
The translation is credited to Yan, and editor credit goes to Wei.
