Rosmei took to X/Twitter to share covers for the fourth volume of their upcoming English edition of Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire: Lie Huo Jiao Chou. They previously revealed the first volume and the fifth volume covers.

As was the case with their previous announcement, no artist was credited with the cover reveal. However, the artwork seen in the initial promo video announcing the license was credited to He Zhi Shan Chuan (鶴止山川).

Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire, original title 烈火浇愁, is a danmei novel series written by priest. priest’s other works include Guardian: Zhen Hun, Stars of Chaos: Sha Po Lang, and Faraway Wanderers: Tian Ya Ke, on which the popular live-action drama Word of Honor was based.

No synopsis of Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire was provided by Rosmei, so a synopsis as posted on Novel Updates is as follows:

In the current era, people are either normal or are [born] with “special abilities.” Cases related to the latter are managed by the “National Anomaly Prevention and Control and Special Species Management Office.”

Rosmei originally revealed their English license of Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire in September of this year. No release date has been announced, although the publisher said pre-orders would be open next year, and that the series would be released in five volumes.
