Heaven Official’s Blessing’s Penultimate Volume Lands on the New York Times Bestseller’s List

Seven Seas Entertainment shared the news that the most recent volume of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s Heaven Official Blessing novel series—volume seven—has hit the New York Times’ Best Seller list.

This isn’t the first time the series has hit what is considered North America’s best-known and most coveted sales list. All three volume ones of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s series debuted on the list when they were first released by Seven Seas Entertainment back in December 2021. Each volume of Heaven Official’s Blessing has made the list since, with volume seven taking one of the highest positions at #5 for its debut week. Although no book has yet to hold its spot on the list for back-to-back weeks, it’s still a huge accomplishment for the books and a testament to its dedicated fanbase.

The New York Times’ Best Seller list describes itself as an “Authoritatively ranked lists of books sold in the United States”. It takes data from a variety of sources and compiles it to release a list of the best-selling books in the United States every week. It’s worth noting that they do not reflect every sale or independent retailer, nor do they include any sales to readers overseas, but they are still considered a generally accurate look at what books are flying off the shelves above all others.

Heaven Official’s Blessing Vol. 7 was released on September 12, 2023. The series is written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, translated by Suika and Pengie, and with artwork provided by tai3_3 and ZeldaCW. The eighth volume of the series will be the final book, which Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing with three separate editions.

Season two of the Heaven Official’s Blessing donghua adaptation is scheduled to debut this October.
