Trailer Drop for Season Two of Scumbag System Donghua

Almost a year after the previous season finished online, a season two trailer has appeared for Scumbag System!

This fully 3D animated donghua is an adaptation of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s novel series, The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System—the first of her now globally popular trio of series to be commercially published. Season one of the donghua debuted in September 2020, running for 10 episodes before an abrupt ending in October. A short clip at the end of the final episode teased more content to come, including a glimpse at one of the series’ popular side characters, Mobei-Jun.

Although the new trailer offers little in regards to characters fans have yet to see animated, it has no shortage of content to excite Scum Villain fans anyway as it showcases its mix of comedy and horror as lead character Shen Qingqiu comes face to face with his disciple Luo Binghe after the latter spent years surviving in a demonic wasteland.

Along with the trailer came the following text:

“The system has been reactivated, successfully connected to main power source Luo Binghe. The second season of [Scumbag System] is coming soon! But where did the little white flower from the last season go?”

A promotional image for the second season has also been posted, though unfortunately, a release date for the second season has not yet been revealed.
